I am a midwife
I am assisting at someone else's birth I will do good without show of fuss. I will facilitate what is happening, rather than what I think ought to happen If I must take the lead, I will lead so that the mother is helped, yet still free and in charge. When the baby is born, the mother will rightly say "We did it ourselves." |
