Birth Assistants are not students. They are hired by the midwife to work for the midwife. They set up, They tear down and clean up, they do charting, they hand the midwife what they midwife needs before the midwife asks for it. They are the background magic that keeps a homebirth incredible.
Currently, Mama’s Midwife, LLC employees 3 birth assistants who rotate through so everyone gets time off call. |
Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is provided at a deeply discounted price to Mama’s Midwife Clients. Please discuss this with the midwives if this is an optional Add on that you are interested in. All placentas are processed in a sterile environment at our Florence office and returned promptly to the client after encapsulation. Prints, cord mementos, and other options are also available. |
